| Tell Us About Yourself | Dear Sir/Madam, I am interested in applying for a teaching position in Mathematics and homeroom. I can teach Mathematics to primary & secondary learners. I can teach a variety of curriculums such as Cambridge (IGCSE, O- level, AS & A level), Common Core, IB, EP. I also used to teach mathematics for aptitude based exams such as GMAT, GRE, etc. Along with Mathematics, I can also teach primary grade English, Science, etc. First of all, i would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Arpan Goel. I come from India (Mumbai). I am currently working at SISB (Singapore International School of Bangkok) as a maths teacher where I co-teach from Grade 3 – 8 (Singapore curriculum) and Grade 9 (IGCSE). I also worked at Wichai Wittaya Cambridge School at Chiang Mai as a secondary Mathematics teacher where I taught from Year 7 to 9. Previously I have worked in the financial auditing department in Pwc (PriceWaterhouseCoopers) for three years and managed family business for 10+ years. I have a valid temporary teaching license. I have done Masters in Commerce from Mumbai (India). I have also completed Chartered Financial Analyst Course (level 1) which is professional studies in investment banking. I taught privately too in my home country. My professional life and studies revolve a lot around number crunching because I love Mathematics and Statistics which is also my forte. Teaching is my passion. This variety of professional experience would help me teach in a pragmatic manner so that students understand the importance of the subject in our day to day life.
