Our little learners started the day with a heartwarming assembly, where they discovered the true meaning of kindness through stories, songs, and engaging discussions. 🎤📖💡 Then, the excitement continued as students moved through different activity stations, each designed to inspire acts of kindness and generosity. 🎨🎭🎶

Our Preschool students had an amazing time at the January 31, 2025, Assembly, where they celebrated the monthly theme: Health, Safety, and Nutrition! 🎉

The event was led by our incredible Kindergarten and Pre-K 4 students, while our Toddler Program and Pre-K 3 students cheered them on with so much enthusiasm! 👏

Here’s what made the assembly so special:

✨ Grade K Sapphire presented a fun and educational role-play on road signs, teaching everyone about traffic rules and safety. 🚦

✨ Pre-K 4 wowed us with a lively singing and dancing performance, introducing the different food groups and their importance for a healthy diet. 🍎🥦

✨ Grade K Emerald brought the energy with an awesome dance performance showcasing community safety helpers like police officers, firefighters, and emergency responders. 🚒👮‍♀️

But that’s not all! The assembly also included a hands-on safety session where students learned essential life skills, like what to do if they ever get locked inside a van. They practiced using car seats, buckling and unbuckling seatbelts, and understanding key safety measures. 🚗💡

It was a day full of learning, laughter, and community spirit! 💖

On 28 November 2024, our Thai Teaching Fellows, Subject Teachers, Office, and Support Staff came together for a transformative workshop at Crestview's Soft Gym titled:
"Empowering Positive Change: Creative Strategies for Shaping School-Aged Children's Behavior."

The session was led by K. Juthamas Ruksasawad, a renowned psychologist with an impressive portfolio:
✨ School Psychologist at the Samut Sakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office.
✨ Chairman of the School Psychologist Committee for the Student Protection and Assistance Center.
✨ Special Lecturer, Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences, Naresuan University.
✨ Co-Founder and Director of Mental Health Social Entrepreneurship (Zone Zero Project).

The workshop equipped our team with creative strategies to positively influence student behavior, fostering a supportive and thriving school environment. Today, our students had an incredible learning experience during the Fire Drill organized by the local Fire Station at Crestview. 🏫👩‍🚒

The day began with an engaging symposium, where students learned about fire safety, emergency protocols, and the importance of staying calm during emergencies. This was followed by a hands-on fire drill, where they practiced evacuation procedures under the guidance of trained firefighters. 🚨👏

A big thank you to the local Fire Station for their dedication and support in educating our students about safety and preparedness. This experience not only reinforced essential safety skills but also inspired some of our young learners to dream of becoming future firefighters! 🌟🚒

Leading up to the event, our elementary students crafted their own krathongs, decorating them with beautiful flowers, leaves, and candles. On Thursday, they joined with our preschoolers to release their creations together, celebrating this cherished #ThaiFestival.

It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to connect with cultural traditions, celebrate unity, and reflect on gratitude and respect for water. 🌊 Watching their krathongs float peacefully brought smiles, laughter, and awe—highlighting the beauty of learning together and honoring diversity at Crestview.

These handcrafted floral floats are a beautiful way to show gratitude to the water spirits and to honor Thai traditions. Here are a few snapshots of the wonderful creativity and dedication our students have shown so far.

Tomorrow, on November 14th, they’ll float these krathongs during our own Loy Krathong ceremony here at school. On November 15th, the Loy Krathong Festival will be celebrated across Thailand, lighting rivers and canals nationwide with beautiful krathongs, symbolizing forgiveness and hope. Today, Crestview was transformed into a world of fun and fantasy as students and teachers came dressed in their best Halloween costumes! The day kicked off with an exciting round of trick-or-treating, as everyone had a chance to visit classrooms and offices to collect treats.
Following the candy haul, students got creative at different activity stations, making Halloween-themed arts and crafts that showed off their spooky style! The celebration wrapped up with a Red Carpet Fashion Show, where students proudly strutted their costumes in front of an enthusiastic crowd.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this Halloween celebration a memorable one! The spirit, creativity, and energy of our Crestview community made for a truly magical day! 🎉🧙‍♂️👹🕸️

We are thrilled to share that our Academic Director recently attended the prestigious EARCOS Leadership Conference at the Shangri-La Hotel in Bangkok! 🎓 Hosted by the East Asia Regional Council of Schools, the conference brought together education leaders and provided enriching experiences, with inspiring keynote speakers and impactful workshops that fostered learning, networking, and camaraderie.

This conference was particularly valuable as we embark on our 18-month accreditation journey with the WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges). Crestview International School Safety Training Update

On Friday, October 18, 2024, our school participated in a comprehensive Active Shooter Training and Drill for all teachers, students, and staff. Led by several local law enforcement officers, the training was designed to ensure that our school is well-prepared for any emergency situations.

We began the day with a school-wide orientation to review safety protocols, followed by specialized training for select classes. We are deeply grateful to Pol.Col. Worapan Pisootthanon, Deputy Commander of the Lopburi Provincial Police Division, and Pol.Lt.Col. Pokkrong Tamisanon, Deputy Superintendent of Thahin Police Station, for leading the effort with their expertise.

For safety reasons, we are unable to share more photos from this important day, but rest assured that the well-being of our school community remains our highest priority.
